It started with a wildflower field and a wedding that almost wasn't
Back in 2016, my best friend's wedding florist bailed three days before the ceremony. I mean, just vanished. No flowers, no backup plan, nothing. I'd been messing around with arrangements as a hobby, so I said I'd help out. Spent 48 hours barely sleeping, creating bouquets in my tiny apartment with blooms from every market and grower I could find in Vancouver.
When she walked down that aisle and cried happy tears, something clicked. This wasn't just about pretty flowers - it was about showing up for people on their most important days. That's when Lumareth Veil was born.
2017
The Beginning
Started out of my apartment with just a folding table and determination. Took on every small event I could - baby showers, dinner parties, you name it. Learned that roses don't like being stored next to apples the hard way.
2019
Finding Our Voice
Opened our first studio on Granville Street. Finally had space to breathe and create without tripping over buckets. Started focusing on what we loved most - ethereal, dreamy designs that felt like walking into a fairytale. Got featured in a local wedding mag, which was pretty surreal.
2021
Growing Through Challenges
The pandemic hit hard, but we pivoted. Started offering subscription boxes and contactless delivery. Realized people needed beauty in their homes more than ever. Lost some sleep, gained a whole new appreciation for what we do.
2023
Expanding the Dream
Brought on a team of talented designers who get the vision. Started hosting workshops because honestly, sharing what we know just feels right. Corporate clients came knocking, which was unexpected but awesome.

Still Growing
We're doing over 100 weddings a year now, plus countless events and daily deliveries across Vancouver. But here's the thing - we still treat every arrangement like it's for that friend's wedding back in 2016. Because at the end of the day, we're not just arranging flowers. We're creating moments that matter.

We source locally when we can, work with growers we trust, and always push ourselves to create something that makes people stop and feel something.
